I made these two quilts as Christmas gifts for my two Granddaughters in 2022
I had a quote to quilt them for $300.00.
So decided to purhase a 6 x 10 inch
Dime Monster Magnetic Hoop,to use with my
Brother Quattro Innovis embroidery machine.
I purchased an Edge to Edge design from Juju Designs called
"Heart's and Flowers"
I gridded my quilt into grids using white cotton the same size as my design.
Using the grid and a small ruler to measure from the sides of my cotton grid to the edge of my hoop to make sure that the design was correctly centered in the hoop,with my needle down at the starting point each time I moved the quilt.
I very much enjoyed using the magnetic hoop and am looking forward to finding other applications that I can use it for.
I added a two inch border around panel and then a 6 inch floral border. I used Matilda 60%/40% wool, polyester batting
with quilting cotton in the quilting sandwich
